The map that started it all in the Battle Royale world is making a grand return! Get ready to dive back into Verdansk with a massive launch event tailored to kick off the map’s comeback. You can look forward to classic gameplay mixed with your favorite mechanics, promising an exciting range of features for fans to enjoy.

Season 3 is set to roll out on PS4 and PS5, introducing Multiplayer and Zombies content to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on April 2 at 9 AM PT. The much-anticipated launch of Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone will follow 24 hours later on April 3 at 9 AM PT.

Let’s talk about Verdansk, shall we? Picture this: 150 players, the familiar voice of the original announcer, shooting while free-falling, and those iconic Infil cinematics, all before your boots hit the ground. It’s like traveling back in time with some modern twists.

We’re bringing back the original game mechanics, including Classic Supply Boxes, Floating Loot, Armor Satchels, and the Buy Station menus. These will be enhanced with current Loadouts and Perks. Plus, High Value Loot Zones dotted around the map hold some premium treasures.

Several quality-of-life updates are also on the way for Call of Duty: Warzone. Expect to see Squad Redeploys at Buy Stations, Attachment descriptions during Weapon Inspects, detailed death summaries, and a HUD flag that indicates when your Loadout is good to go, among other improvements.
