In a thrilling announcement during The Game Awards, industry veteran Mike Morhaime, founder of Dreamhaven, took center stage to share exciting news about the publisher’s upcoming game lineup. Morhaime, while chatting with Geoff Keighley, introduced us to Wildgate—a multiplayer shooter set in the outer realms of space—alongside updates on other anticipated titles like Sunderfolk and Lynked: Banner of the Spark.
Today, the spotlight was on Wildgate as we revealed two jam-packed trailers. This action-packed PvP shooter from Moonshot Games will have crews of four navigating endlessly vast maps, where they’ll battle rival spaceships, seize precious loot, and upgrade their gear to brave deep-space perils. Wildgate is gearing up for a release later this year on Xbox Series X|S, and those itching for an early dive can join next month’s playtest at playwildgate.com.
In addition, we’re excited to announce that Sunderfolk, a novel couch co-op tactical RPG, is set to launch on April 23. Secret Door has crafted an experience that feels like a thrilling game night—infusing traditional turn-based combat and exploration with modern twists. Players can conveniently manage the action with a smartphone or tablet app, making it easy for everyone, regardless of their gaming background, to get immersed. Sunderfolk will be available on Xbox Series X|S.
Another exciting update comes with the official release date of Lynked: Banner of the Spark, landing on May 22 for Xbox Series X|S. This colorful, rogue-lite RPG mixes comforting town-building with intense combat scenarios. Set in the year 30XX, you’ll fight against a menacing robotic force using your Wyre grapple and gather allies known as Unibots. Collect and use their parts to build a thriving hub amid the ruins. Whether engaging in solo or cooperative gameplay, you’ll wield a customizable array of weapons and create a unique home and hero. Every decision counts—will you be the spark to ignite change?
