There’s still a lot we don’t know about Space Marine 3, but Saber has teased that it will feature both a campaign and a multiplayer mode. At the conclusion of Space Marine 2, our hero Titus stands victorious over both Chaos and Tyranids. He then embarks on a mysterious mission alongside the Ultramarines Chapter Master, Marneus Calgar. Interestingly, in an installment of the Secret Level anthology, released by Amazon, Titus even manages to squeeze in a daring mission against Chaos cultists.
Looking back at the first two Space Marine games, they both kicked off with an alien menace—Orks in the first, Tyranids in the second—before revealing a dangerous twist with a Chaos Space Marine villain. These included formidable foes like the Chosen of Nemeroth and the Thousand Sons. While it’s too soon to predict exactly who will stir up trouble in Space Marine 3, the intriguing presence of Necron technology at the end of Space Marine 2 might be hinting at a new and formidable adversary joining the fray in the upcoming sequel.
