Upcoming Xbox Game Releases: April 7 to April 13

A whole slew of exciting Xbox games is dropping this week, and the standout without a doubt is South of Midnight from Compulsion Games.

While a special Premium Edition of the game has been out since April 3, the Standard Edition is set to hit the shelves on April 8. True to its status as an Xbox first-party title, this game is being directly integrated into both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

For those who might’ve missed it, I recently penned a review of South of Midnight. In it, I expressed, "I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this tale of a young Weaver on a quest to rescue her mother, and I genuinely hope Hazel’s journey continues. South of Midnight is a heartfelt homage to Southern Gothic and the South itself, and I wish people finish it feeling enriched."
