Live-Action Zelda Film Set to Release on March 26, 2027 – Announcement

Did you notice how Nintendo has a fondness for releasing movies around late March to early April? It’s almost like a tradition for them. Today, they revealed that the Legend of Zelda movie will hit theaters on March 26, 2027. This falls right in line with the trend we saw when the first animated Super Mario Bros. movie debuted in early April 2023, and with its sequel set to follow suit next April.

What’s still up in the air, though, is the casting details for this Sony Pictures collaboration. We’re all waiting eagerly to see who will bring the iconic characters from Hyrule to life.
