So, you’re waiting on those Switch 2 game announcements, huh? Yeah, I guess most people are missing out on the wild ride into 2089 Japan. Not your average Tuesday, right? Anyway, D3Publisher’s got our backs, making sure we’re clued in. They just shouted out loud about Full Metal Schoolgirl dropping on October 23rd.

Yuke’s, you know them, right? They gave us EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: World Brothers 2 and AEW: Fight Forever. Well, now they’re back with Full Metal Schoolgirl. They’re calling it an “action-packed adventure with a heavy-duty attitude.” Whatever that means, but hey, the trailer seems to back that up.

So, fast forward to 2089, and Japan’s pretty much been swallowed by this mega-corp beast called Meternal Jobz. Picture it: zombie cyborg labor force running 24/7. “Working Dead," they call them. You? You’re a cyborg schoolgirl, weaponized and all, climbing this insane 100-story tower. Gotta stop the CEO and his evil minions before, you know, they wreak havoc.

“Rebellion and chaos,” says Nobuyuki Okajima, some bigwig at D3Publisher. Future capitalist satire with bullets, blades, and an audience watching your every move. It makes you wonder, why the future? But hey, who am I to complain?
