Weekly Spotlight: Embracing Maximalism – PlayStation Blog

Last week, you guys really threw down the gauntlet with your #PSshare #PSBlog submissions. I mean, wow. I was scrolling through, and maybe it’s just me, but it was like I could almost hear the clicks of the camera shutters. Does that make sense? Anyway, these are what jumped out at me:

First up, we have this gem from JarrinWasHere. Picture this: Jesse from Control just hanging out in an ocean of yellow sticky notes. That’s right, a whole SEA of them. It’s almost like they were trying to remind Jesse about something… or maybe just to startle us. Who knows, right?

Then, call_me_xavii decided to squeeze all the humans into one shot in Humanity. They were just… there. Packed together like they were at a rock concert, but in a game. Don’t ask me why, but there’s something funny about that crowd. It’s like I could feel the chaos through the screen, you know?

And oh, JULY_AA_0510 went absolutely nuts with the stickers in Cyberpunk 2077. If sticker-bombing was a sport, they’d win gold. Simple as that.

Oh, oh, and don’t let me forget secondcapture. They threw us this pic of a building – wait for it – shaped like a finger in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Yeah, you read that right. A finger. Who thinks of these things?

Then there’s Fabricioevm with this vast, dramatic landscape in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Massive doesn’t even cut it; that mountain-sized Nevron in the back is just… woah. I mean, you could get lost just looking at it.

AkiraAoyama_VP (great name, by the way) showcased the ultimate rat invasion from A Plague Tale: Requiem. If you’re not squirming in your seat just thinking about it, you’re braver than I am. Seriously, it was like a rat tidal wave.
