Fans of the original PlayStation 2 title, "Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army," are in for a treat with this faithful remaster. The supernatural action RPG now boasts an upgraded battle system, enhanced graphics, and those newly added voiceovers for the main storyline. Plus, there are quality-of-life improvements to take the gameplay experience to the next level.
The story kicks off when a young heiress turns to the Narumi Detective Agency with an unusual request: she wants them to kill her. Before they can get any explanation, she’s kidnapped. It falls to apprentice detective Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, who’s also a Devil Summoner protecting the Capital, to unravel the mystery.
Raidou’s quest spans the entire city and even takes him into the Dark Realm—a perilous zone between our world and the netherworld that’s teeming with demons. What begins as a missing persons case quickly evolves into a vast conspiracy threatening the Capital and beyond.
"Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army" is set for a worldwide release, both physically and digitally, on the Nintendo eShop for the Switch and Switch 2, hitting shelves on June 19, 2025.
