Oh man, where to even start with this one? So apparently—the Konami code thing we were all pumped about isn’t coming with 1.3.0. Gotta wait a bit longer. Bummer, right?
Anyway, Nintendo dropped an update for Mario Kart World, and it’s, like, classic Nintendo-style fixes, if that even makes sense. They patched up a bunch of small, kinda weird course issues. Nothing earth-shattering, but hey, they’re working on it. Oh, and they threw in some new identifiers or something? Like, you’ll get signals when you find all the switches and Peach medallions in free roam mode. Which honestly, I didn’t even know needed fixing until now. Go figure.
And there’s this thing now where you can choose which character to watch in online modes. Not sure how big a deal that is, but it’s kinda cool, I guess.
Oh! Version 1.2 is also upping the odds of lap courses showing up in the “Vs Race” and wireless races. Which is neat, unless you hate laps. Then maybe it’s not so great. I dunno. Anyway—where was I going with this? The update’s live, so go check it out if you’re into that.
