Okay, so Infold Games is doing it again, throwing another update our way for that game we can’t seem to quit: Infinity Nikki. Seriously, this is the second one this month! They rolled out Blue Tears Season earlier in July, and now we’ve got Danqing Season on our doorsteps.

They’re dropping a big version 1.8 patch on July 30. I mean, who even keeps track of patch numbers? But anyway, it’s happening. I think? Hope I got that right.

Oh, by the way, the new patch is spinning up a fresh season, as usual. Not like that’s a surprise. But what’s cool, if that’s even the right word, is some parts of the patch stick around for good. But not the main event, so don’t blink or you’ll miss it—it runs from July 30 to September 2.

This Danqing Season, with its traditional Chinese ink-painting vibe, is setting the scene. Imagine—new region! Danqing Island. Sounds like something out of a dream, right? And surprise, surprise, it’s a secluded spot pulling Nikki and Momo into some wild, otherworldly mystery about villagers doing the disappearing act.

Inkshade: Painting Loong is the new boss—you gotta face off with that dude. And yes, there are new mini-games. They even tossed in a Weiqi (Go) game. Never thought I’d touch that!

Costumes galore, like a fashion show on steroids. Three new outfits to hunt down: Clouded Loong and Forever Bond, both 5-star, plus Danqing Craft, which I think has some abilities or something? Better check the Steam page. They’re running an event calendar there—could be fun, or not.
