Each week, Sony drops a whole bunch of new stuff for PlayStation peeps. Whether you’re rolling with a PS4, PS5, VR, or fully into PlayStation Plus, it’s like a treasure chest of goodies, right? Anyway, let’s dive into this week’s scoop straight off the global PlayStation Store. And heads up, if I get sidetracked, well, it’s probably because this reminds me of something else entirely. Check back on Tuesdays if you’re as impatient as I am for the next update!
### North American Update
#### July’s PlayStation Plus Essential Lineup
First off, Diablo IV. Seriously, this game? It’s like falling into a deep fantasy hole that you don’t want to climb out of. And then there’s Jusant for PS5. Never heard of it? Neither had I, but here we are. Oh, and how could I forget The King of Fighter XV? It’s like an old friend showing up in a new jacket.
#### PS4 & PS5 Games
Alright, let’s talk games. Maybe you’re into flying stuff; there’s this Airplane Flight Simulator: Combat Zone. Sounds intense, right? Then there’s The Alpha Wolf. Not sure if it’s about literal wolves or someone channeling serious canine energy. Who knows? AquaDream sounds like one of those games you play when you can’t sleep. Or maybe your dreams are already like an aquarium. No idea why I said that.
Arcade Archives STINGER is one of those throwbacks, I guess—but you probably knew that. Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced. Feels like the name doesn’t even fit on the box, does it? Battle Pixel, Beam Driver, Bedrotting—these titles almost sound like they could be a band lineup rather than a game list.
Oh, I gotta mention Best Served Cold. That title alone makes me think of revenge movies from the ’80s. Or was it just a cooking game? Honestly, I got distracted halfway through.
Bioweaver? BREAKING BRICKS? Not even sure where to start, but the mental image I get is kind of wild. Buddy Garden feels wholesome, but then again, names can be deceiving. Candivity might have you thinking about candy, but unless you’re playing Hungry Gamer, maybe it’s not edible.
We’ve got CarGo! and CarX Street. So many car games, you’d wonder if these were just from actual car companies. And Close For The Night gives me this eerie, “last one out, turn off the lights” vibe.
Color Recreator? Maybe I’m colorblind. Death Relives is on my list to try, just not before bed. That’d be a nightmare.
Dr. Atominus shouldn’t be taken seriously, if you ask me. Sounds like your typical mad scientist deal. Ed & Edda: GRAND PRIX – Racing Champions screams high-speed chaos.
Meanwhile, EmyLiveShow: King of Desires. I mean, what’s that about? Anyway, Exo Mayhem: Open-World Supervillain Simulator – talk about living out villainous dreams!
Fit And Fry: Organized Chef. Never knew cooking could have levels until now. And seriously, Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+? I’m intrigued. The Jumping Food Delivery – PS4 & PS5 is a mouthful to say.
Killing Floor 3 might be intense; I’m guessing a lot of digital enemies bite the dust there. Then you’ve got Lawn Mower Racing — honestly, can’t tell if it’s genius or just plain odd.
Long Run sounds exhausting even thinking about it. A digital marathon nobody asked for? Perhaps so.
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap has me thinking of classic fantasy warfare again, but maybe that’s just the escapist in me. Oxide Room 208—I bet it’s as mysterious as it sounds.
Pro Wrestler Story? Sign me up. Psychopathy Assessment feels heavy. Quit Today could be about anything from a job simulator to nicotine patches.
Let’s not forget Rogue Raccoon – wonder if it involves trash pandas. Rookie Basketball Shoots, well, maybe next gen is all about sports.
Secret Paws – Cozy Offices is clearly for cat lovers working in claustrophobic cubicles. Strike Mission—so many combat games this week.
Then there’s Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ Game. ‘Nuff said if you’re into that universe. TERASLIDE, Tiny Titans – Card Rumble, and Tralalero Tralala: Rage Bait. Say those three times fast.
Wheel World—I swear, if there’s an actual world of wheels, we might be onto something bizarre.
And finally, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. Is it about birds? Maybe, but who am I to guess.
See, as I worked through this list, I realized how ridiculously diverse and, well, awesome PlayStation’s lineup can be. It’s like diving into a sea of options, each wave bringing something different. Not complaining – just wide-eyed at the sheer volume of it all!
Catch you next time, or maybe sooner if I get lost in all these games.
