Nintendo Releases – March 27, 2025 – Update

Lately, my dealings with the eShop feel colder than an icebox at Wendy’s, thanks to my dwindling gold coins and my slow progress in Xenoblade X.

Last week, we overlooked the release of Senkyu, a Match 3 puzzle game, available now on the Archives. But, let me bring an urgent reminder: tonight marks the end of earning My Nintendo Gold coins from new purchases. If you’re snagging games from places like the Humble Store or Best Buy, make sure to redeem those codes promptly—it’s the only way to get full value, even when the game is on sale. Unfortunately, this week’s game selection to spend those precious gold coins on is a bit slim. We’ve got a Doraemon-themed Picross game, a fresh installment of Gal Guardians courtesy of PQube, and a remake of the 1995 PC adventure game "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream," lovingly restored by Nightdive. My only fond memory of this game is a demo on a PC Gamer disc that tragically never worked on my ancient computer.

As the current fiscal quarter wraps up, the game releases are pouring in. I’ve only managed to dedicate about an hour and a half to Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition since its release. At this rate, fully experiencing it might take until the universe’s end-of-time party. Much appreciated, guys.
