Okay, here we go. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild ride.
So, here we are again. Another year, another Xbox Games Showcase. And, as you might expect, Microsoft threw all their gaming cards on the table. Or some of them, at least. They’ve got all the juicy details for the players lined up for the rest of this year, and, uh, some future ones too. Oh, and guess what — they’re bringing some of their games to the “enemy team’s” console. Yeah, some of these newbies are showing up on the PS5. Who would’ve thought?
Now, here’s the funny part. Or maybe it’s not funny, more like intriguing. Anyway — wait, no — where was I? Oh yeah, these are the PS5 announcements from Xbox’s 2025 party:
The Outer Worlds 2 — launches October 29, 2025. Somehow, this date sticks with me. Maybe because it’s close to Halloween. Ghosts and spaceships, what a combo.
High on Life 2 — dropping sometime in winter 2025. Whatever that means. Could be snowing or just cold rain.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy — okay, brace yourself, this one’s out in 2026. Rats possibly included (not real ones, obviously).
The Blood of DawnWalker — yep, another 2026 one. Feel the anticipation… or not.
Super Meat Boy 3D — early 2026. Which kinda sounds like tomorrow and forever at the same time.
Ninja Gaiden 4 — October 21, 2025. Slices, dices, and probably a lot of spinning blades.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC — adventure hops in on September 4, 2025. Fedora optional.
Beast of Reincarnation — 2026 release. I mean, it’s got "reincarnation" right in the title. Endless chances?
Clockwork Revolution — "Coming in due time." The most precise date ever, right? Or not.
Grounded 2 — face those bugs on July 29, 2025. Literally or metaphorically, up to you.
Cronos: The New Dawn — look out for it in fall 2025. Leaf changes and game releases, what a season.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Wurm Cult — hits June 18, 2025. Wurm Cult sounds… mysterious? Cultish? Both?
Aphelion — another one set for 2026. Space vibes all around, I guess.
Age of Mythology Retold DLC — swoops in during fall 2025. Feels like history class but way cooler.
Mudang Two Hearts — release date? Well, it’s anyone’s guess.
Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf — another entry set for 2026. Nature, nurture, and maybe some mystery.
Fallout 76 Gone Fission DLC — already out. Surprise! Or maybe not, if you’re in the know.
Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive — summer? No, wait — fall 2025. Seasons flip so quick, don’t they?
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Launch Trailer — roll on in on July 11, 2025. Time to dust off that skateboard.
