Survival game, Dysmantle, has somehow hit over two million copies sold. Weird, right?
Anyway, the folks at 10tons dropped this news bomb, saying their game has crossed this sales mark after around 40 months since its full launch in November 2021. Oh, and before that, it did a little dance in Early Access for about a year. So now you can play it on just about anything—PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, Android. It’s everywhere. But don’t ask me how many were sold where. I’ve got zilch on that.
To mark this milestone, they’re rolling out a snazzy physical version of Dysmantle for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Feels pretty fancy, huh?
Sampo Töyssy, who’s apparently this big deal at 10tons, had a moment. “We can’t thank our fans enough for helping us hit the amazing milestone of 2 million copies sold,” he said. Seriously, he said that.
Then there’s this whole thing about the new physical edition dropping on June 27th for PS5 and Switch. Here’s the kicker—this was supposed to come to the US, but, plot twist, it’s not happening right now. Some “unfortunate circumstances” or whatever. Still, fingers crossed everyone who wants a copy can snag one. Big love to all the fans!
