So like, apparently, all those wild stories about a Switch 2 Pro are gonna chill for a bit. Or forever. Who can say?
Now, whether folks were scared of tariffs or just dying for a brand new Mario Kart (has it really been that long? Time flies!), the Switch 2 has seriously taken off. No joke, it’s been a wild ride for this thing.
Nintendo dropped a statement tonight, and honestly, it’s kinda astounding. In just four days, they’ve sold over 3.5 million of these bad boys. Crazy, right? Just to paint a picture here, when the original Switch hit the scene in March 2017, it sold like 2.74 million in the whole month. Yeah, let that sink in for a sec.
But wait, there’s more! I mean, not really, but I’m hoping for some juicy regional breakdowns. Nintendo’s supposed to drop their financial results for Q1 sometime around late July or early August. So, fingers crossed, we’ll get more deets then about where this thing is flying off the shelves. Or not. Who knows?
