Nintendo has rolled out a fresh new app named Nintendo Today for smart devices, describing it as “a daily calendar of sorts.”
Each day through this app, you’ll receive a mix of updates, including the latest news, videos, and comics featuring your favorite Nintendo games and characters, all from select franchises.
If you’re eager to know more about the successor to the portable home console, you’ll find all the detailed information right in the app following the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation happening this Wednesday, April 2.
Shigeru Miyamoto shares, “Since 2011, Nintendo Direct has been our way to bring Nintendo news straight to you. These presentations have since grown into highly-anticipated events for many. We truly appreciate everyone’s interest and support.”
He continues, “While we will certainly keep up with the Nintendo Direct presentations, we’re excited to introduce a new way of delivering information ‘directly’ to you. Enter Nintendo Today! This smart device app works like a daily planner. Through it, you can explore various Nintendo events, plus get all sorts of daily content about Nintendo games and characters.”
“Post the Nintendo Direct for Nintendo Switch 2 on April 2nd, you can expect to receive daily and ‘direct’ updates about the Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo Today! app too.”
