Oh man, got some news for ya! So, Outright Games and Nickelodeon, you know, the folks behind all those cartoons, are tossing a new game onto the Nintendo Switch. It’s called PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship. I mean, can you believe it? Those little rescue doggos are jumping into kart racing now. Certainly didn’t see that coming.
Okay, here’s the scoop: 3DClouds whipped up this new game where you pick your favorite pup (hopefully, you actually have a favorite) and start tearing through tracks. There’s like, what, 12 tracks? Plus three arenas for some added madness. And yeah, it’s all based on the places from the show. I swear, it’s like the cartoon exploded into racing chaos.
And you know what’s wild? There’s this thing – I mean, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it – called the Monster Truck Transformation. Like, your kart decides, mid-race, “Hey, I could really use some more oomph,” and boom, monster truck mode engaged! Why? I dunno. But it’s kinda awesome.
So, the game lets you race alone, or you can drag someone in for some local co-op action. That “bring the family together” type of vibe. Adventure Bay, the Mountain, Foggy Bottom… if those names mean anything to you, you’re gonna be speed-happy. I guess while you zip through, you grab fancy objects to pull ahead of your rivals. Classic.
Stephanie Malham, the big boss at Outright Games, was saying they wanted something everyone could play. Honestly, who doesn’t want to morph their kart into a giant truck? Super relatable. They totally teamed up with Nickelodeon to catch that PAW Patrol magic everyone’s nuts about.
Anyway, mark your calendars – October 31, 2025. That’s when you can nab it, either at the store or through the Nintendo eShop. Seems far away, but maybe that’s just ‘cause I’m impatient.
So, yeah, there’s a trailer too, somewhere on YouTube. Not that I’ve watched it, but if you do, let me know if it’s as bonkers as it sounds.
That’s all I’ve got. Until next time – keep racing, or watching others race, I guess.
